These modules form the basis of the project: they will explain the project and guide you to the information you need. Note that these modules can run concurrently.

 

Step 1: Getting started

Learn:
Relationship between business and communications. How digital is impacting the way in which business communicates. The key principles of social media. The key principles of collaboration.

Action:
Follow the beginner education. Register on Slack and Hootsuite. Conduct the initial business audit.

Results:
Understand the basics of the Nustory Project and why social media is important. Understand your partner startup.

Step 2: Build a plan and generate content

Learn:
How you can build an initial plan and start posting content to test its effectiveness.

Action:
Post content to Twitter. Measure its effectiveness. Use insights to develop deeper content such as blog posts and infographics.

Results:
You will have experimented with posting content and learned what insights you can gain and how you can use these to iterate your strategy.

Step 3: Create your final report and social media plan

Learn:
How you can take what you have learned from posting content and managing the social account of the startup to build out a final report and social media plan.

Action:
Create the final report for review by the startup, including lessons learned and recommended next actions.

Results:
Understand how to analyze activities undertaken and plan and communicate a course of action.
